Why_we_started_growing_roses_in_Kenya
Our nursery in Naivasha in Kenya is just above the equator. That's why we have lots of sunlight .We have about 12 hours of daylight and it is dark for 12 hours each day. This is yearround and does not change per season as it does in the Netherlands.

In Kenya the light intensity is very high, this is why the roses have thicker leafs and a lot of growth power.

The nursery is situated at 1700 m above see level, in Kenya this means that night temperatures are moderate (8-12 degrees) and the day temperature is not too high (18-28 degrees). These moderate temperatures combined with high light intensity makes the roses grow in a more natural way and will be of higher quality.
